Gatehouse was founded to provide high quality, focused and results-driven internal communication advice and support. The consultancy was established by co-directors Lee Smith and Simon Wright in 2006. The pair had previously run their own agencies and, prior to that, had worked together in senior communication roles. Between them they have over 35 years’ communication experience.

We are passionate about internal communication and believe employees are an organisation’s number one stakeholder – without their ongoing support and buy-in no business can achieve its full potential. With that principle in mind, we hold that employee communication should be at least as well planned and executed as external programmes.
