Glimpses into the history of IC
I’ve been doing a bit of digging around into the history of internal communication – and found a couple of interesting links I thought I’d share with you.
The first is an excellent overview by a UK agency I haven’t come across before called 44 Communications. Their ‘quick history of IC and its business value‘ is a great introduction to the topic which provides some useful context, as well as highlighting some of the key studies that have taken place over the years.
I also stumbled upon a series of blog posts exploring a book first published back in 1942 (possibly the first book specifically on IC) called ‘Sharing Information with Employees’. It also makes interesting reading.
Enjoy.
